DT 990 PRO X Limited Black Edition

MORE THAN A COLOUR. A MINDSET.

Professional work is built where details are not overlooked but deliberately examined.

Black has long been embedded in the world of professional audio: understated, focused, and uncompromising. It reflects a mindset that is not about standing out, but about delivering results.

The DT 990 PRO X LIMITED BLACK EDITION makes that mindset visible. With its open-back design and the DT 990 PRO X's distinctive, highly detailed sound signature, these open studio headphones support critical listening, analytical work, and the precise identification of acoustic details.

Limited in black. For those who hear every detail.

DETAILS REVEALED. FLAWS EXPOSED.

Those who critically evaluate recordings, analyse details, and identify imperfections need headphones that do the same. The DT 990 PRO X LIMITED BLACK EDITION builds on the proven sound signature of the DT 990 PRO X, bringing even the finest details and inconsistencies to the surface. This allows recordings to be assessed with precision and confidence, helping you make informed decisions throughout the production process.
For critical listening with professional standards.

STELLAR.45 – RELIABLE PRECISION

Precise decisions require audio reproduction that remains consistent and trustworthy. Developed in Germany, the dynamic STELLAR.45 driver with an impedance of 48 ohms delivers outstanding detail, low distortion, and a frequency response of 5 to 40,000 Hz. This makes even the finest nuances and potential imperfections audible across a wide range of playback devices. A reliable foundation for analytical listening and critical decision-making.

FLEXIBLE IN ANY SETUP. SECURELY CONNECTED

The DT 990 PRO X LIMITED BLACK EDITION integrates seamlessly into a wide range of production environments. Its detachable cable with a locking mini-XLR connector ensures a secure connection throughout every session. Featuring a 3.5 mm jack plug and a 6.35 mm adapter, the headphones can be connected to a broad variety of audio devices. A dependable setup for professional work.

ICONIC VELOUR. IN BLACK

Critical listening rarely ends after just a few minutes. Soft velour ear pads, a padded headband, and the flexible headband construction provide exceptional comfort, even during extended sessions. This keeps your focus where it belongs: on the material, not on the headphones. The exclusive black design of the DT 990 PRO X LIMITED BLACK EDITION gives this professional standard a distinctive expression.

MADE IN GERMANY. BUILT FOR RELIABILITY.

Professional tools need to prove themselves over years of use. The DT 990 PRO X LIMITED BLACK EDITION is manufactured in Germany and built with robust materials and replaceable components. The availability of spare parts makes maintenance and servicing straightforward, helping to keep the headphones performing reliably in demanding studio environments for years to come. A visible expression of the qualities that define professional work: consistency, durability, and uncompromising standards.
